Rabbi Aryeh Ben David speaks about liturgy, boredom, unscripted prayer and “tumbling” before God.

Rabbi Aryeh Ben David is the founder and director of Ayeka, Center for Soulful Education (www.ayeka.org.il). He taught at the Pardes Institute for twenty years and was the educational director of Livnot U'Lehibanot in Jerusalem. He also served as the Rabbinical Educational Consultant for Hillel International from 2004 - 2007, and spearheaded their spiritual initiative throughout the United States. His is the author of Around the Shabbat Table, a Guide to Meaningful Shabbat Conversations" (Jason Aronson) and The Godfile: Ten Approaches to Personalizing Prayer(Devora).
